Unite for Europe, a small group of 6 dedicated volunteers, have been working hard over the past few months trying to organise a national march to Parliament.
Over the past month, they have funded the campaign, advertising and promoting it largely over social media. The aim, to beat the numbers at the first march just after the referendum and to show the government that we aren’t going to just forgive and forget about this terrible decision.
The march will take place on the 25th March, starting at Park Lane (London, W1K 7TN), or Pall Mall (London, SW1Y) if you have a mobility restriction.
Why 25th March 2017?
“Unite for Europe is timed to coincide with the UK Government’s stated intention to trigger Article 50 by the end of March 2017. 25th March 2017 is the 60th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Rome, which established the European Economic Community.”
