About 48 and Beyond
48 and Beyond is a space for thoughtful reflection on life as it actually unfolds, not as it’s curated or performed.
I’m Brenda Brown. I’m a wife, a mother of three sons, and someone who has spent much of life paying attention — to people, to patterns, to what works, and to what quietly doesn’t. Over time, I’ve learned that living well isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about learning how to think clearly through change, responsibility, and the passing of time.
This blog isn’t about perfection, performance, or reinvention. It’s about discernment. It’s about navigating adulthood with steadiness, curiosity, and intention, especially in seasons where life looks good on the outside but still asks deeper questions on the inside.
Here, I write about wellness, relationships, motherhood, and personal growth — not as advice, but as perspective. I’m interested in what experience teaches us once the noise fades, and how clarity often comes from restraint rather than excess.
If you value depth over drama, reflection over reaction, and progress without spectacle, you’ll likely feel at home here.
48 and Beyond isn’t a destination.
It’s a way of paying attention.
